NETWORK SUPPORT

We are passionate about the ministry of Chaplaincy and excited to see it operating from within the local church and reaching out into its surrounding communities. Communities are made up of people, just like you and me! Chaplaincy is all about supporting people thru life; seeing them empowered and connected with the resource they need to overcome life’s circumstances.

If you are interested in becoming a Chaplain then we would love to assist you in your journey. If it is training that you require, Chaplaincy Australia has a National Training Office that is geared to provide you with Chaplaincy specific training that will equip you for the ministry.

If you are already a Chaplain and active within your community but looking for a Network of Chaplains to connect with then we would love to hear from you.

Being part of the network is a two-way partnership…. Without a network of trained and accredited Chaplains and Chaplaincy Team Members, Chaplaincy Australia would not exist! And we exist to see each member of our network prosper and grow in their area of Chaplaincy.

We are committed to supporting you through:
• Ongoing support and encouragement through connection with a Regional Chaplain
• Regular professional development days
• Annual Chaplaincy Conference
• Facilitation of mandatory supervision
• Opportunity to train up and be deployed as part of our Disaster Response Teams

NSW/ACT Regional Chaplains

Our Network is supported by a fantastic group of Regional Chaplains located in each of the designated regions in NSW and the ACT. Our Regional Chaplains are all active in Chaplaincy ministry and they are there to provide face to face support and encouragement to each of our Network Members.

If you haven't been in contact with your Regional Chaplain in recent times, why not pick up the phone and give them a call. They would love to hear from you; to join with you in celebrating the joys of chaplaincy ministry as well as providing any support needed.

NSW/ACT = NATIONAL Chaplaincy Conference 2013

This year our NSW/ACT Chaplaincy Conference will be hosting the first National Chaplaincy Conference! We have been actively planning and organising for what we believe is going to be a wonderful time together with Chaplains from right across our country! And we are excited to announce that we are going "Retreat Style"! We love the feel of community that results from staying together throughout the conference... not to mention the ease of no travel to and from the venue each day.
