Simone is volunteering for Chaplaincy Australia, working with the QLD administration team and helping Lina Cavallaro with the North Brisbane Hub.

 

Regional Chaplains

Our Network is supported by a fantastic group of Regional Chaplains located in each of the designated regions in QLD and the NT. Our Regional Chaplains are all active in Chaplaincy ministry and they are there to provide face to face support and encouragement to each of our Network Members.

Care Essentials’ is designed to equip and assist pastors, chaplains & leaders caring for people experiencing personal and interpersonal challenges. Communicate to Connect teaches you how to build rapport and connect with people in deeper life issues. Establishing deep connections and conversations.

Care Essentials’ is designed to equip and assist pastors, chaplains & leaders caring for people experiencing personal and interpersonal challenges. Building Resilience and Expanding Capacity Professional Development day equips you to understand the challenges of caring for self and others and how to foster resilience and wellbeing; physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

Date: Tuesday 4th July (In school holidays)

Time: 9am – 3:30pm

Mental Health First Aid Course

Learn skills and gain confidence to assist friends, family and co-workers experiencing mental health problems.

Mental health first aid is the help provided to a person who is developing
a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis. The first aid is given until the appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves.

This 2-day course will be faciliated by Pastor Angie Herranz (QLD Director CA) who is has wide experience in offering assistance to individuals in need of Mental Health support.  

This is a great professional development opportunity for chaplains and for members of the public who want to be able to render appropriate assistance.

Chaplaincy Courses available in QLD!

 

We are very excited to be able to offer a Cert IV in chaplaincy through Alphacrucis in Brisbane. 

This fantastic course prepares Chaplains for the awesome opportunities which present themselves as we step out and minister to those in need. 

The course is delivered in 4 x 3 day intensives and additional course work. It is an intensely practical and useful period of study which many report as life and ministry changing.
